Hometown Superior Therapy is a Mason, WI based, family owned physical therapy practice providing unique in-home rehabilitative services to patients requiring assistance recovering from an injury or to improve their mobility. With Hometown, each session is one-on-one, and is provided by a physical therapist who will tailor a specific therapy program to your individual needs. We offer in-home physical therapy services in Bayfield, Washburn, Ashland, Sawyer, Price and Iron Counties. Most major medical insurances are accepted. Our clients are individuals of all ages with all manner of rehabilitation needs.

GENERAL PHYSICAL THERAPY
Your therapist partner will guide you in recovery from sports-related injuries, chronic pain, lymphedema, vestibular disorders, disorders of balance and gait, tendonitis, sprains, strains, headaches and much more. Our therapists use conventional and specialized therapy methods including exercise, yoga, pilates, kinesiotaping, neuromuscular techniques, functional training, dry needling, manual therapy, manual lymphatic drainage techniques, electrical stimulation and much more.
MAINTENANCE THERAPY
For those with chronic conditions, our professional team will be there for you and your family every step of the way. While ongoing authorization for therapy was previously approved only for those who could show consistent, measurable improvement, Medicare has now made special consideration for those requiring ongoing treatment for those conditions which require maintenance to prevent regression or to slow an inevitable decline. "Maintenance Therapy" is now an available option for many different diagnoses for the purposes of pain management and fall prevention as well as maintenance of strength, and independence in the home.
HOME MOBILITY TRAINING
Keep yourself and your loved ones healthy and safe at home. Hometown is happy to partner with you to help you achieve any activity-specific goals. Whether it is ambulation, fall prevention, bed mobility, stair navigation or personal care performance, Hometown's goal is to keep our clients as independent in their homes as possible. Our therapists will evaluate patient mobility needs, assess the home setting. Recommendations can be made for simple home adaptations that can prevent falls, ease the burden of daily activities and keep you or your loved ones in the home safer, longer.
AQUATIC THERAPY
Hometown partners with facilities in Bayfield and Ashland which are mobility accessable to provide aquatic therapy. The buoyancy of the water allows for a graded progression through partial weight-bearing exercises without the compressive forces of conventional therapy. Though aquatic therapy is not for every condition, the unique properties of water support and enhance interventions for patients across a wide age span with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary and integumentary conditions.
NEUROLOGICAL REHABILITATION
Hometown specializes in the evaluation and treatment of individuals with movement problems due to disease or injury of the nervous system such as those with spinal cord injury, stroke, Parkinson's Disease, ALS, MS and many other conditions. Hometown understands that each individual with these complex conditions has specific and unique needs to thrive in their own home setting. Our therapists have advanced training and years of experience practicing in the area of neurologic physical therapy and will design a specific program addressing those home mobility activities that are most important to each individual patient.
